Quality, reliability and proficiency

The task of DUTRADE ZRT is to meet increasing customer and owner expectations and quality requirements during its operation. For this purpose a quality management system was introduced in 2001 according to standard MSZ EN ISO 9001.

Our company is committed to environmental protection and our employees' health and safety are of primary importance for us. Therefore an environment-centred management system according to MSZ EN ISO 14001 and an occupational health and safety management system according to MSZ ISO 45001 (before MSZ 28001) were set up and introduced in 2006. Those three systems make up our Management System. As a legal requirement in 2016 were ertablished ISO 50001 Energy Management System and from 2021 we complied with the energy audit obligation for large enterprises under Goverment Decree 122/2015 (V.26.) and Law no. LVII./2015 on energy efficiency.

The senior management of the company worded its commitment to quality, environment, occupational healthcare and safety and energy expressed its intentions and presented a short, concise summary of its guidelines in the Integrated Management Political Statement. 

DUTRADE ZRT Integrated Management Policy Statement (Amendment 13, 23.03.2022)

Dutrade Zrt. wishes to ensure the organisation’s sustainable long-term operation by the production, purchase, processing and trade of steel through realizing the needs and expectations of the organisation’s context (internal and external issues and interested parties).

The fundamental objective of Dutrade Zrt. is to maintain the quality of product, environment and health protection and industrial safety, to ensure energy-efficient operations and continuous improvement trough risk-oriented approach with considering the potential and existing, positive and negative effects and taking the neccessary actions.

In the course of its activities the company complies with the effective statutes and the requirements of other regulations and contractual provisions, and enforces its rights. It makes a conscious effort to use tools, instruments, material and intellectual resources representing the best available technology (BAT) at any given time to meet the requirements of zero error, to observe the principles of sustainable development to minimize the use of natural resources.

The process-approach operation of the introduced Integrated Management System includes corporate enviroment, development, manufacturing, trade and other service activities, as well as the use of all machinery and equipment, edifices, structures and facilities found on the sites.

Quality objectives: to provide for the possibility of product re-processing, improve control of the supplied raw and auxiliary materials, widen the choice of products offered, improve trade servicing, technical consultation and develop packaging technology. We implement our objectives and envisaged plans in the framework of projects, with the help of up-to-date quality technologies.

In addition to the uninterrupted improvement of environmental performance, the company assigns based on environmental risk-analys high priority to the economical use of resources, cutting emission, prevent environment pollution and improve waste management.

Through reducing occupational risks and health hazards, the employees’ working conditions are continuously improved. Employees are provided with the appropriate protective devices as well as the consultation and participation in planning and performance evaluation of occupational health and safety-related issues.

During the performance of the corporate activities and the operation of its equipment, the company pays special attention to the prevention of potential accidents, ill healths, emergencies (breakdowns) and pandemics, including the outsourced processes and subcontractors.

During the organisation’s operation and manufacturing equipments’ operation and maintenance Dutrade pays special attention to improving the energy performance, reducing and normalization energy consumption as much as possible.

Expects external interested parties to comply with the norms of quality, environmental, safety and energetics standards approved by the company and have certifiable and valid competences.

Its internal interested parties’ awareness of quality, the environment, health protection, safety and energetics are improved at regular training courses.

It applies an fair business communication, co-operates with its employees, partners, the local population, the authorities and other stake-holders in the interest of operation that is sustainable over the long term.

Dutrade Zrt.’s management and owner is committed and participates proactively and responsibly in the implementation of the provisions of its Integrated Management Policy Statement, ensures the required resources, encourages and expects every employee of the company to identify himself or herself and comply with its provisions.

In order to implement the provisions of our Policy Statement, the company operates an appropriate Integrated Management System compliant with the standards MSZ EN ISO 9001, MSZ EN ISO 14001 and MSZ ISO 45001 certified by independent companies.

Our company works in terms of data management according to EU 2016/679's regulation, relevant national laws and data protection and data security rules, in its up-to-date version.
